Announcements for March 8th and Weekly Events

Today is day 116(Day 6 of Specials)

• Mission Statement: Konnoak Elementary School will provide a quality education in a nurturing environment that will develop each child’s potential and promote life-long learning.

• We had a good meeting last Friday as we reveiwed the proposed budget reductions and their impact both on individuals and Konnoak. If you have questions about the sheet that was passed out, please feel free to ask for clarification or explanation.

Weekly Events:

• Monday
• I have a District Budget meeting at 9:15 am
• We will meet with all 1st grade students in the gym at 1:30 pm.  Teachers do not have to stay for the meeting. The meeting should conclude at 2:15
• Tuesday
• Teacher Assistant meeting at 7:15 am
• Wayne Foster will visit all K-2 grade classrooms starting at 8:15 am
• We will meet with all 2nd grade students in the gym at 1:30 pm. Teachers do not have to stay for the meeting. The meeting should conclude at 2:15
• Wednesday
• All office staff will be have their PLC meeting at 9:45 am. Ms. Porter will be covering the office. Please be mindful of this as we will meet for approximately one hour. Unless it is an emergency, I am asking that no one be sent to the front office. Also, please keep calls to a mininum during this time.
• Grades 3-5 Fundraiser Assembly at 1:00 in the gym
• Grades K-2  Fundraiser Assembly at 1:30 in the gym
• SIT Meeting at 2:45 pm in the media center
• I will be at a mtg at the Admin Building starting at 4 pm
• Thursday
• I have a K-5 Principal's meeting at 7:45 am
• 4th grade half-day planning at Methodist Church starting at 11:30 am
• I will be at an Operation Lamb Dinner at 6 pm
• Friday
• I will be at a FPA board meeting starting at 7:30 am
• Ms. Smart will be at a Middle School Registration meeting starting at 8:30 am
• First Grade Half-Day Planning starting at 11:30 am
• Kristi Miles shower at 3 pm in Darrah's room
